Henry Payne of his mother - 1924 Henry Payne (1868 - 1940), Edward's father, was a prominent stained glass artist, muralist and teacher at the Birmingham School of Art. In 1909 he moved with his family to Amberley and established a 'Morris' inspired family art colony (The St. Loes Colony). |
