BOX WOMEN'S INSTITUTE
Good news at Box WI - we have welcomed 4 new members.
The programme for the year has something for all tastes. We have already welcomed Anne Brookes from the Minchinhampton - Nkokoto Link and been encouraged to laugh with Patrick Graham. The June talk will be "Thailand the Tourists don't see", in July we will be Tea-Tasting and in September we will be Rescuing Swans.
The Institute has organised a Spring visit to Normandy to see the Bayeux Tapestry and Monet's Garden - the Summer outing is still to be decided. Springtime sees the start of the monthly walks with a pub lunch and the skittle season starts in earnest.
Throughout the year we continue with our Community Projects - Austerity Lunches and Litter Picking. We enter the County Quiz, the County Skittles Competition, exhibit crafts and attend conferences.
Meetings are held on the 4th TUESDAY of the Month at 10:00am in Box Village Hall. Visitors are most welcome.
