PROGRAMME OF EVENTS for the remainder of 2011
6th Oct. 2011 – Macbeth - Stratford (matinée). We leave at 9.15am to spend the whole day at Stratford. This is our first visit to the newly refurbished Stratford theatre. There is time for walking around Stratford and lunch before the start at 1.15pm. We return to Box at roughly 5.30 / 6.00pm.
36 tickets have been bought in advance so return your application form to me early, when you receive it in September, as the bus fills up quickly.
23rd November - South Pacific - Bristol Hippodrome
If time permits we may book another visit in December.
Booking forms will be sent out in good time. Early application is recommended to avoid disappointment.
New members are always welcome and should contact Anne Mustarde by phone in the first instance (see number below). Our membership fee is £3 per person per year payable around the time of our AGM which usually takes place in May each year. Payment of the membership fee allows me to know how many people still want to remain active members (even if not able to go to events very often) so that our trusty volunteer “booking form deliverers” are not wasting their time. If you can give us your e-mail address we can save on postage.
We meet regularly to decide what performances we would like to go to. Any suggestions from members as to what they would like to see would be very welcome. We try to book a mixture of things to suit all tastes but you may have other ideas.
